Suffering from a winter cold, I was in a brain fog and was in need of something nutritious to cleanse or revive my soul. Husband suggested we go for some pho to help ease the congestion and discomfort. It was just the thing I needed! Husband typically gets the Large P1 Pho Dac Biet, which comes with rare steak, brisket, tripe and tendon. I opted to get the P12 Pho Oxtail (bonesless). I love that they offer a generous amount of toppings and the fixings such as bean sprouts, basil leaves, jalapenos and limes. The soup is also packed with sliced onions, chopped green onions and cilantro. The broth is light and at this time, revitalizing. The oxtail bits were tender and there was a good amount in there. I created a dipping sauce for the oxtail which consisted of sambal, sriracha and lime juice. The heat and spice helped clear up my congestion and after the meal, I think I walked out of there a new person.

We LOVE this place. Favorite pho around. What sets it apart is the delicious broth, the tender meat, and the consistency of the meal, always 10 stars for take out or dine in. Best pho!!

Good local Vietnamese spot. Feels family run with nice service. We routinely get the their Spring Rolls (shrimp) with the yummy peanut sauce and Pho Thai (rare roast beef in broth with noodles). It is a good size portion of pho and the broth has a nice flavor. You can spice it up with the sauces on the table. Lately, I have been having the Lemon Grass Spicy Tofu - (no, I have not turned vegetarian). This dish has great texture and flavor. We will be back again and again.

Great Vietnamese food option in Mission Close to Ladera. Takeout is quick and service is fast dine as well. Always get their rare beef pho, Thai tea and vermicilli 3 item combo. Plenty of meat in the pho compared to other places that skimp on the meat.

I visited by myself on a Sunday for lunch. There was no wait and it wasn't busy. I was promptly seated and my order taken. I ordered egg rolls and spring rolls. The spring rolls were Really good with beef, shrimp fresh herbs and a great sauce. The egg rolls were delivered with some lettuce, mint, cilantro, pickled vegetables..... but the egg rolls were burnt. Not just a bit but quite a lot. The waiter seemed fine with how they were delivered. They tasted ok but would have been better if not charred. I'd probably go back because I think in general it is good.

Even though this is the same brand as the other local one, I find the pho noodles here to be cooked to perfection. I love my pho noodles chewy and they make it this way here. Prices are a bit higher here than its sister location but risky worth it. Pho tai large $17.00. The pho noodles are addicting. Can order a side of extra noodles for $4. Would make this my regular spot. Lots of seating inside. Large indoor capacity.

Our family really enjoyed our dining experience at Pho the Bowl! We received our pho quickly and at the perfect temperature. There was a generous amount of meat and the broth was very flavorful! My husband, who usually enhances his pho with all the sauces and lime, didn't feel the need to do so. The Vietnamese egg rolls were also crunchy and delicious! Our server was friendly. I'm always impressed when a server can take an order without writing anything down and the we receive the correct order. Utensils, sauces, napkins and such are on the tables so we did not need to ask for much. We appreciated our water glasses being refilled. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. Free parking outside in the shopping center.

Super delicious Pho! My husband and I got our 2 favorites, veggie pho and rare brisket pho. Everything was so fresh and 10/10! Also got some Thai tea with boba which was amazing. The staff was friendly and greeted us right away, the service was quick too! We will certainly be coming back often! Lastly the atmosphere was relaxing and laid back, perfect setting to enjoy a nice big bowl of pho!

I was hungry for something fresh and light for lunch, and this hit the spot! When I sat down to eat, I thought I would need to save half for dinner, but it was so delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. I finished the whole dish, but didn't feel too full. It was perfect! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to great food!

Food (5/5 stars): Pho the Bowl is a great pho spot in Mission Viejo. I had the regular sized Pho Tai Chin, which came with rare steak and brisket. I appreciated how much meat there was! And the broth had a great, satisfying flavor. Experience (5/5 stars): * Price: reasonable * Wait Time: minimal on a Friday for lunch * Service: good * Parking: there's a parking lot * Ambiance: it's a nice and pretty modern restaurant
